Kaifa Luo

Biography

Kaifa Luo is a PhD student in the department of physics starting spring 2021, and joined the Oden Institute in summer 2021. Previously, he worked as a graduate research assistant at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology on theoretical and computational condensed matter. Before that, Kaifa graduated from Wuhan University summa cum laude, with a Physics major and a Computer Science minor. His current research interests are mainly on the first principle calculations to predict novel quantum effects and materials.
